Louis Turcotte, Executive Chef
Borned in Loretteville, in Quebec, Chef Louis Turcotte has evolved in the culinary industry for over 20 years. After finishing his studies in 1993, Louis goes to Lyon, France where he performs an advanced training course. Back in Quebec, he begins his career as a cook for a Quebec hotel. His willingness, constant efforts and career moves throughout North America allow him to expand his culinary knowledge and climb the ladder towards his ultimate goal - Executive Chef. In 2002, Louis leaves for Mexico as the Executive Chef for the renowned Club Med in Cancun. In 2003 he moves again for Club Med Turquoise, in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Back in his native country, Louis pursues his career with several hotels within Quebec and finally joins the Gouverneur Sainte-Foy team in June of 2007. Since then, Chef Louis Turcotte loves to share his extensive culinary knowledge for the joy of the many tourists and Quebec City residents.
